Still plenty of snow. Roads are clear to the top and main areas (still use caution on side roads, which are mainly for local traffic: it is hard to turn around). Social distance-no trash left behind-no trespassing-have fun-enjoy-oh, don’t forget to wear facial coverings when close to others -

After a nice long break, which included much needed repairs and updates, we have reopened.

Plenty of snow. Roads have been plowed. Chains required signs will be posted for the whole winter season. CHP tends to enforce that when conditions call for it. Enjoy

A dusting of snow, made it cushy for a doggy walk

Rain + snow + rain = no snow (Yesterday’s storm) Today A slight chance of showers before 10am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually getting sunny, with a high near 48.

Today’s storm: rain, hail, snow, rain

Winter conditions by the fireplace. Forecast: fog, rain, snow showers, more rain, more fog: no snow accumulation expected.

Update: 1:25pm: snow melted quickly and the expected remaining snow showers for this afternoon missed us. A bit of snow overnight: less than an inch. Monday forecast calls for 1-2 of snow.

Fog, and a chance of snow. We’ll see.

Quick dusting of snow all gone, but for a few spots, for the very young ones to slip and slide.

Can’t miss an opportunity to sled. .....snow dusting (1/2 to 1) will only last a day or two.

Good morning to the forest

Patchy snow remains: more for hiking while....very small areas for sledding. (Small kiddos might still have some fun). Open today: 11-4 (Back to normal hours).

The Snow starting to melt fast....there are patches /sections of snow, still enough for the kids to play in. Roads are clear....we still have a couple of closed roads/residents only. Please help us to keep the mountain beautiful and clean: drop off any trash by our trash cans and if you pick up a piece or two of forgotten trash, the better for the forest and all of us.... Enjoy.

A few inches of icy snow. Roads are clear to the store. ........any further and they may still be icy. Also be careful if you need to park on side of the road on the snow.(could get stuck)... Remember to stay off closed roads/residents only State park, group campground by fire station are the beat places to play in....the rest are private properties. Again, if you have or see any trash, drop it off by the store’s garbage cans. We’ll dispose of it. Let’s keep this beautiful mountain clean and beautiful. Enjoy
