I delivered a few unsold paintings to Bert Collins, we sold 15 of her acrylics and pastels . What a sweetheart she is. I unmasked for a second and held my breath.

Those who know me, know that I love Carpinteria, those who know Carpinteria , know we call it Carp. For the past few days I have been watching and enjoying a... group of generous guerrilla artists that call themselves CARP ROCKS! Here on FB. What they do is paint small rocks and leave them as offerings along the routes they walk. I am so lucky that my route coincides with one of these artists and I have found six of her rocks. When I found the first one I posted here that I would keep looking and whatever I found I would make available and pass on to to other people here at the Palm Loft Gallery. So here we are, the first Carp Rocks exhibit at an art gallery! Come and get yours! See more

When Art comes to town! The Palm Loft Gallery invited all artists to participate in a juried art show called Make Hay While the Sun Shines! And the artists res...ponded from near and far! Many coming from Santa Barbara, Ventura, Ojai, Lompoc, Camarillo and one each from San Pedro CA and Sag Harbor, New York! The show will open this Saturday, July 13 with a reception for the artists from 5 to 7 pm. And a special concert immediately after with Jen Hajj, an award-winning songwriter from Idyllwild, CA. with a local duo of songwriters Dennis Russell and Laura Hemenway opening for Jen. Participating artists are: John Aaron, Jannene Behl, Brendan Brigg, Molly Burns, Cynthia Burt, Sarah Carr, Jan Clouse, Marcia W. Constance, Judy Crowe, Lynn Dodge, Adonna Ebrahimi, Elizabth U.
