A health care services company recently had a lawsuit filed against them with claims stating that the employer did not pay employees the proper amount of overtime. Although these regulations are temporary, there is a possibility that they may be extended beyond the initial six-month period."

The Ninth Circuit recently held that Amazon delivery drivers are transportation workers engaged in interstate commerce, even if they don’t physically cross state lines. This holding means that these delivery drivers are exempt from arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act.
