We wish everyone a safe, healthy, and Happy Thanksgiving Day. This year posed unique challenges to all of us, but there are still many reasons to remain hopeful and be thankful. Let our troubles bring our country, communities, and families together, and bring out the best in all of us. We hope that you will all find a special way to celebrate this day with your family and loved ones.

It is now time to heal and rebuild. It is now time for everyone, Republicans and Democrats, to unite and work together to find solutions to the problems besetting our country right now. We can do this by focusing on the things that unite us and not on the things that divide us. While we may have differences in our methods and beliefs, we all love this country and share a common goal, which is to make this country a better place for our children and the future generation. It is now time to listen to each other and find a common ground so we can resolve our conflicts, work effectively with each other, and learn to trust each other again. It is now time for our leaders to move past our ugly politics and do what is best for all the people in this country.

The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected our way of life and has caused problems for many families and individuals. It has not stopped us, however, from helping people in the immigrant community. During the past few months, we have continued to assist immigrants and their families in finding solutions to their immigration problems and have filed numerous petitions, adjustment of status applications, applications for immigration waivers, naturalization applications, visa a...pplications, appeals, etc. on their behalf. We have taken precautions, however, to ensure their safety in case they need to visit our office. We require all staff and visitors to wear a mask while inside the office. We clean and disinfect the office before and after each visit. We have installed a heavy-duty HEPA air purifier that captures 99.97% of airborne germs and allergens. There are also hand sanitizers inside the office available for use by staff and visitors. Lastly, we have installed plexiglass shields in our office to prevent the transmission of airborne germs. The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our highest priority so we will adopt more safety measures in the future as needed. See more

PROCLAMATIONS AFFECTING ENTRY OF INDIVIDUALS APPLYING FOR IMMIGRANT VISAS President Trump has issued a proclamation on June 22, 2020 extending Proclamation 10014 of April 22, 2020 until the end of this year. Proclamation 10014 originally suspended for a period of 60 days the entry of individuals applying for immigrant visas who: 1. are outside the United States as of April 23, 2020;... 2. do not have an immigrant visa as of April 23, 2020; and 3. do not have an official travel document other than a visa (such as a transportation letter, an appropriate boarding foil, or an advance parole document) that is valid on the effective date of this proclamation or issued on any date thereafter that permits him or her to travel to the United States and seek entry or admission. Proclamation 10014 will now be in effect until December 31, 2020 and may be extended. It does not affect: (i) Individuals applying for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident in the United States; (ii) Individuals who already have immigrant visas as of April 23, 2020; (iii) Individuals applying for an immigrant visa as a physician, nurse, or other healthcare professional to perform medical research or other research intended to combat the spread of COVID19 or to perform work essential to combating, recovering from, or otherwise alleviating the effects of the COVID19 outbreak, and their spouses and unmarried children under 21 years old; (iv) Individuals applying for visa under the EB5 Immigrant Investor Program; (v) Spouses and unmarried children under 21 years of age of U.S. citizens applying for visa under the immediate relative category; (vi) Members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their spouses and children; (vii) Individuals who are considered important for law enforcement or national interest purposes; and (viii) Individuals applying for visa in the SI or SQ classification and their spouses and children. It effectively blocks the issuance of immigrant visas to and the entry of the following immigrant visa applicants until the end of the year: (i) Spouses and children [whether minor or adult] of lawful permanent residents applying for visas abroad; and (ii) Parents, siblings, and adult children [21 years old above] of U.S. citizens applying for visas abroad. The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected the lives of many individuals and families in our community. We have decided to help support people impacted by the pandemic by pledging to donate at least ten percent (10%) of all consultation fees paid to our law firm from July 01, 2020 to December 31, 2020 to food banks and/or homeless shelters in our area.
