Hosted our first live stream funeral yesterday. What a blessing for those that can't attend in person. I was so happy with Lemonbucket Studios by my side. They helped me fix a few last-minute issues. They were professional, respectful, on time and my client's family was extremely happy to be attending virtually. I found this to be a wonderful addition to help my families with closure during their grieving process.

Just finished a webinar on elder scams given by the National Center on Law and Elder Rights! What a great presentation! DO NOT give any personal information over the phone (SSN, Birthdate, Acct numbers). If one of your "institutions" calls you, hang up and call them back. Be careful of: -Fake Vaccines... -Test kits -Air filter systems -Medicare-related scams -Covid related charity scams (have them send information in the mail) -Errand Helper scams (find a friend or neighbor or use a trusted seller) Use 1-800-677-1116 (Eldercare locator) -Government Imposter Scam (Social Security, EIP payments, IRS, etc). Call them directly. -CFPB has some great tips online! One of my hospice teams has a tradition of creating a "special day" for my clients. I'm excited about this week's special day. My client will get a 1st class meal at her home with all the fine dishes, table settings and all those caring for her to visit. I can't wait to be a part of this special day. I LOVE MY JOB!!!

UPDATE Papas viral video got the attention of the TODAY SHOW. They did a nice article about him on today.com https://www.today.com//video-great-grandpa-94-fly...ing-down- We told him we would make him famous. Let’s see how many shares we can get. When your 94 year old Papa says I’m going down the water slide that means he’s going down the water slide! I love him so much and hope to be half the man he has been through his life.
