Harvesting our Cabernet and Syrah wine grapes today. Two Tina picked this year... our largest crop ever! Thank you rain! Organic grown and delish! Can't wait to try the wine!
Just a small sampling of our harvestable organic veggies right now! Can you say- "dinner"...
Balloons flying over the garden today. Would love a pic from up there -- down on our farm. With over 100 fruit trees, vineyards and organic veggie gardens... Sure it's a gorgeous site to see.
Our organic Syrah and Cabernet grapes will be ready for harvest next week! Brix or sugar content right on schedule - especially with the mini heat wave we will be having come Monday. Cheers!!
Sage~Rosemary~Thyme Drying fresh herbs is the best way to preserve them for the future.... Especially before they bolt and go to seed.
It's been a busy day but we now have lots of Liquid Gold! Canning our stone fruit bounty of early peaches and apricots. All grown organically so when they are ripe it is a race to can the fruit before they spoil. #farmtojar #paddingtonfarms #homemadejam #temeculawinecountry #organicgoodness

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Why not plant your own salsa garden?! Fresh, delicious and super easy to make!
Spring has definitely sprung here in the Temecula Valley Wine Country, located in Southern California. Even with the mediocre rains we had this Winter, our pit fruit and citrus are in full bloom! You should smell the sweet aroma of our bounty to come this summer! http://paddingtonfarms.com/spring-has-sprung/
Great Read! Mayb our little vineyard grapes will make it in this book one day! http://www.amazon.com/Temecula-Valley-Wine-Bu//ref=sr_1_5
A few words about straw from Farmer Bob of Paddington Farms, Temecula Ca.
Farm dogs helping out. Now is a perfect time to put straw around your dormant fruit trees. This will offer terrific nutrients, keep weeds down, and keep in moisture. In TEMECULA, we got ours at Big Horse Feed and Mercantile. VERY affordable way to go.
