Don Meeker was one of the founders of PacMin in 1946. He is pictured here in 2007 with CEO Fred Ouweleen, Jr. Meeker passed away in 2010 at the age of 94. Meeker started out in the wind tunnel model shop at Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica and worked on the B-19, DC-4, and DC-6. Douglas kept him out of military service as he was needed for their production. The model shop was in Hangar 76 near the DC-3 Assembly line.... Like our page for more #PacMinHistory.

This Memorial Day, Southern California residents can catch a glimpse of some amazing warbirds! The flyover is planned to start at noon on Monday, May 25. Flyover locations include Loma Linda Medical Center, Riverside National Cemetery, St. Joseph Hospital, Pacific View Memorial Park, Long Beach Veterans Hospital, USS Iowa Memorial, LAX, UCLA Medical Center, and USC Medical Center.
