So fog was in the forecast last night. I am here to tell you the forecast was correct. Three hours with my guests in a solid, thick blanket of white mist. Although there wasn't much to see because of the fog, the fog adds another dimension to being on the water. Quite, peaceful and thought provoking. They all loved it.

Captured a few pretty sunsets from this past week. Seeing the sun set over the water never gets old, it's like the first time every time.

These four ladies met about 10 years ago when they joined a grief support group after losing their husbands. Every year since then they get together and enjoy each others company on a short excursion. I am pretty confident that next year they will return for another sunset cruise. Nice meeting you ladies!

We take everyone on our boating charters from newborns to seniors and they all have a good time.

This weekend, Captain Glenn and I found dolphins on most of our charters. Note the dolphins in front of our sailboat, the Summer Wind.

Last night we took out Jeff, Lisa and their two children Kali and Gia for a gentle sunset cruise. But Jeff had a surprise in store when he broke out a beautiful diamond ring and proposed to his girlfriend on the bow of the La Bella Vita. She said YES! Could not have asked for better sailing conditions. The hundreds of dolphins that played along side us was a plus too! Congrats Jeff and Lisa and I wish you many happy and healthy years together.

Although the picture looks as if this boat is cruising by a beautiful sunset, it's actually broke down and being towed in by a Boat US Towboat. But, I know the guy and thought I would give him this picture to brighten up his day and the fact that he is about $600 poorer.

We had a spectacular sunset this weekend in Oceanside and our guests were even better.

Saw this today in our harbor. A self propelled hydrofoil surfboard cruising about 2 feet above the surface of the water. Never seen anything like it before. Thought it was cool.

I took a couple pictures of Captain Glenn on the Summer Wind last Monday and a lone bottlenose dolphin near the entrance of our harbor.
