Okay, I know this article is 4 years old but, I think it says a lot that our social studies teacher, Carl Toliver, became superintendent of Stockton Unified School District:

If you were one of the core group of students that was here year one and two I'd love to hear from you. That first year a small group of first year students helped develop the curriculum and we were on a college schedule (no bells). Hugh Norris was Principal, Don Hanham taught Science, John Spooner Art, Pam Hanham English, Pete Hernandez Mathematics, and Carl Toliver Social Studies. Some of the students I remember from that first year included Tony Delmonica, Mark Ford, Rose Lopez, and Ernestine and Christine Hernandez. Cheers!
