These roles will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of shipments through the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and local customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Transport full and empty containers to and from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to customer sites. Keep trucks clean and well maintained. Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations (e.g. log books, and pre and post trip inspections). Adhere to safety and company policies. Turn paperwork in complete and on time. Maintain contact with dispatch for delivery instructions. Be professional and courteous with customers. Requirements: Class A Driver’s License (at least two years). TWIC Card (Transportation Workers Identification Credential). DOT Medical Physician Certificate Clean driving record. Port driving experience Pay starts at $22.00/hour for day shift and $25.00/hour for night shift. Drivers average 40-60 hours a week, may vary depending on business needs. Trucks are from 2015 and 2020. 24 hour dispatchers available. Deliveries include live unload, and drop/pick. Yard Goats and mechanics are available throughout your shift.
