Please Welcome Jose Cano - Canosonico, Musician, Producer, Founding Member and drummer for Las Cafeteras, to our Honorary Board of Directors. "I’m a son to immigrant parents who came to Oxnard 40 years ago. I grew up in north Oxnard, went to public schools, community college and was among the very first in my entire family to go off and graduate from college. I always knew I would move back and get involved in my community which is why I’m so grateful to be invited to be part of the honorary board at the OPAC. We can only start to imagine the great potential that exists when all the great young talents of Oxnard can find support and a home for their art within the walls of the OPAC. Honored to lend my support to those who work everyday to make that a reality."
