Dear Oxford parents, It's that time again! This week we're kicking off the annual Oxford Holiday Meal Project, a wonderful tradition that provides funds for holiday meals and/or supplies for as many as 30 Oxford families who could use some extra support this holiday season. ... This year, we will present each family with a Safeway, Target, or Berkeley Bowl gift card along with a store bought treat donated by an Oxford family. This is where YOU come in! Last year, we raised over $2,000 and provided a wide variety of delicious baked goods. This year our goal is to support thirty families in having a special holiday season despite hard times. There are two ways to help; we hope you will consider doing both: 1. Donate Funds! Online: Go to http://oxfordelementary.org/support/donate/ and click on the donate button. Please note in the space provided that you are donating to the Holiday Meal Project. 2. Donate Baskets/Get Shopping! Donate an empty basket you own, and/or volunteer to purchase a dessert/treat to be delivered with the gift card. You can donate anything (storebought and sealed this year due to the pandemic) that makes the season feel festive for you. Feel free to dress up the packaging or include a holiday card. Note: we will be assembling the baskets the the week of December 14, so please bring any donations to drop off on the porch of Gaby's home, 2201 Rose Street in Berkeley by December 13 at noon.
