We are proud to air the second broadcast of Our Lady of Fatima Villa's "Talk of the Villa". In this episode our hostesses, Marilyn White and Marilyn Friesen, interview this year's Saratoga Rotary President Jitka Cymbal at the 60th annual Saratoga Rotary Art Show. We love their unique interview style and hope you do too!

Here it is -- the First Broadcast of our new sure-to-be-a-ratings-hit show "Talk of the Villa". Hoda and Kathie Lee can't hold a candle (in our opinions) to Marilyn White and Marilyn Friesen who hosted a video segment called "Talk of the Villa" at the Saratoga Rotary Art Show. The Marilyns (as we call them) interviewed past and current Mayors of Saratoga (Chuck Page and Manny Cappello); this year's Art Show Chairman, Bill Comport; Carol Burns, a representative from the Bay ...Area News Group, and others. "Talk of the Villa" is hoped to be a semi-regular show featuring people and events of interest to Saratogans, and also events and people at Our Lady of Fatima Villa. Bella Mahoney, President and CEO of Our Lady of Fatima Villa said, "Our Marilyns did a fabulous job -- you would have thought they had been doing this for years. It's a great way to show the world that residents of Our Lady of Fatima Villa are active, fun-loving..and very interesting people." The next taping is planned for the Fourth of July at both Kevin Moran Park (Saratoga’s celebration) and again at Our Lady of Fatima Villa.

Lady of Fatima Villa Ready! We are proud to be consistently recognized by State and local officials as being one of the few senior facilities who train for emergencies. We attended a training seminar in Walnut Creek and our staff was one of only two groups who had brought their manuals just another example of our attention to details that matter!!

Easter was a happy event at Our Lady of Fatima Villa -- children and their parents joined residents in our Courtyard for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. And a special appearance was made by the Easter Bunny. Join us again next year!

Elvis Presley Returns by Popular Demand for Concert Series at Our Lady of Fatima Villa Our residents all (we think) have a bit of a crush on Elvis (sometimes known as Lloyd Aaron Douglas). Fresh from his Monte Carlo concert, Elvis entertained our residents with his own special brand of singing, dancing, hugging (yes), and fun. ... Before Elvis arrived, a young Frankie Sinatra impersonator, Mr. Rey Aberin entertained the crowd. Then Elvis arrived, opening with his signature entranceSpace Odyssey/CC Rider. Residents had a wonderful time joining in, applauding and singing along as Lloyd sang in that deep bass Elvis Presley voice.

We had another of our popular Skilled Nursing lunch outings at Holders Country Inn in Cupertino. They are a local institution featuring good old American Cuisine. The Holder Family has been very involved in our community since they opened in 1957! That lunch happened on the birthday of Sister Shirley Narvaiz of the Dominican Order.

Residents' and Their Families Parking Lot Grand Opening Party December 9 Our new parking lot is now open! We appreciate the support and patience of our residents and their families. We'll celebrate on December 9 when residents, their families and friend gather for a thank you party!
