Panelists in STEM and STEM-related fields will be joining the college for a 1-hour virtual panel and discussion event, where they will share their experiences, challenges, and advice on being BiPOC in the STEM fields. Hi Omicrons, I hope your midterms are all going well. We are having a meeting this Wednesday at 5 PM. Paulina Prado from Gallo Winery will be our guest speaker this month. Gallo Wineries is the largest family-owned wine producer in the county and owns over 23,000 acres of vineyards with an annual sale of 5 billion dollars. This is a great chance if you want to break into the scientific beverage industry or learn more about a great Californian made product! ... Scavenger Hunt We’ll be hosting a 15-minute scavenger hunt that you’ll be able to do from the comfort of home! We’ll provide the list and rules once everyone is gathered together on Zoom. Try your best! For the winner receives a prize! Brief Intro - For those of you who weren’t able to make it to our first meeting a couple of weeks back, we’d just like to take a few moments to fill you in on what you missed! Lastly, we’ll be playing Skrible io, a web browser doodle game! The gist of the game is that one person per round must draw out a particular word while the rest of the 8 player lobby tries to guess the word. The sooner the guess, the more points!
