Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club surf racks were installed at the O’side Harbor this week!! So awesome!! Thank you to everyone who made this project possible!

Wow! What an amazing run for little Reid! She's put in a ton of work and had a lot of help from some amazing people! So proud of her tenacity and focus.... She is graceful & fluid on her longboard and then powerful and aggressive on shortboard. Double-double championships in both Western Surfing Association & Scholastic Surf Series a spot in the MexiLog Fest and now an invite to compete in the USA Surfing U12 & U14 USA Champs at Lowers! UPDATE @ 4:30p: A 55 y/o male was 20 yards from shore when he was bit in the left thigh/buttock area just before 8:00 am. Wound was so high up they had diffic...ulty controlling the bleeding. He was unresponsive on shore and CPR was in progress when fire/medics arrived. He was transported by medics in critical condition. He then went into surgery and is now in stable condition. SHARK ATTACK UPDATE @ 9:37a: We have confirmed that a 55 y/o male was the victim of a shark attack at Honolua. The male was transported to MMMC by medics. No word on his condition at this time. SHARK ALERT : Report of a shark that was seen close to shore in Honolua Bay. There is a surf contest that was scheduled today and has been cancelled due to the sighting. DLNR is on scene.
