I was supposed to direct two major productions this fall, both produced by the same man. Since he had some physical problems, I helped him for a month with the production side. I got agreements with the two publishers of the plays, permissions from the authors and from their agents , found a PR person , even a theatre that would have been perfect both as far as the size and location . I even received ticket orders for the McNally play, to which I have the West Coast Premiere rights,from two major LGBT organizations on town . And then the producer evaporated.... Searching for a replacement for one or both plays.

We have opened a fund raising campaign for the next season of our OTC theatre Planned: And Away We Go - a hilarious new play by Terrence McNally, The Last Schwartz, a hit dramedy by Debrah Zoe Laufer and Heat by William Hauptmann, a brilliant drama that we premiered in 1977 at our original theatre on Sunset Strip but which, for some mysterious reasons, has disappeared from US stages. Of course all this depends on how much we will be able to raise . We have sent out over 1500 requests for donations.
