Be on the look out for your favorite Orcutt Lion members at the Albertson's Oak Knolls store front in their familiar "Green Machine" shirts All donations go to the Lions Sight Conservation Foundation of Santa Maria who provide financial assistant with... the cost of eye examines & prescription glasses for qualified applicants. Orcutt Lion's President Sheri Hughes & Facebook Admin. Lion Carol Treat are pictured presenting a check for $1,000 to Laurel Alcantar, Senior Development Manager of the Santa Barbara North County Food Bank. The donation represents funds accepted from the Orcutt Community during the Orcutt Lions "Way to Glow" Foodbank fundraiser. The Orcutt Lions then made a matching donation, bringing the campaign proceeds to $1000. A special "Thank You" to the Orcutt Community for your gener...osity, and especially to the Oak Knolls Albertsons for the use of their store entrance for this fundraiser that was held Saturday, September 19, 2020. Orcutt Lions Past President Chuck Williams presented guest speaker Sergeant Chuck Hoops of the California Highway Patrol a Certificate of Appreciation during the Orcutt Lions general meeting on October 22nd. Orcutt Lions are currently having their general meetings once a month on the third Wednesday of the month.
