Firefighters responded to a commercial structure fire in the City of Santa Ana in the early morning hours yesterday. Upon arrival, they found a church building ...not in use with fire through the roof. The incident commander requested a third alarm immediately and subsequently an additional alarm for a total of four. This brought 100 firefighters to the scene to battle the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings. It took over two hours to get it under control. The building was assessed at $2.2 million and was a complete loss. There were no reported injuries to firefighters, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Assistance was provided by Anaheim Fire and Rescue and the Orange City Fire Department. Additional footage provided by OC Hawk.

Merry Christmas from Orange County Fire Services Association
On December 14th OCFSA put on their Annual Shopping With a Firefighter Event at the Westminster Walmart. There were approximately 30 children from the Orangewood Children’s Home that were provided with lunch and Walmart gift cards so they could buy Christmas gifts and essentials. There was no pictures allowed of the children. Thanks to the Orange County Fire Services Association Board, and their Wives, and Girlfriends, OCFA Station 32 Reserves and helpers, The members of the North Pole Fire Department, and the California Fire Museum. It was a special event for the children and everyone that attended to help out.
