How exciting to have the opportunity to interview SOPHIA, the world’s first humanoid robot, developed by Hanson Robotics! Last month, Sophia the Robot traveled ...all the way to Palm Beach, Florida, to meet during our #DateWithDestiny event and we didn’t hold back from some burning questions. Here are some highlights from our conversation where we talked about everything from how Sophia’s makers have influenced and shaped her A.I., to our shared commitment to helping humans experience a better quality of life! Sophia has traveled to 66 countries and hundreds of conferences already. A little over two years ago, she became the FIRST robot to receive citizenship of any country when she became a citizen of Saudi Arabia. She was even named the United Nations Development Programme's first ever Innovation Champion, making her the first non-human to be given any United Nation title!
