The entire Veteran community is hurting. We are struggling to deal with the loss of 13 brave warriors and the emotional impact of the retreat from Afghanistan after 20 years of sacrifices by Veterans and their families . This passage in the Bible has helped to comfort me as I try and process my feelings about the tragic events that unfolded during America’s retreat from Afghanistan. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4... Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. May God Grant You His Gracious Gifts of Peace and Comfort Today. Semper Fi

March 29th is now Viet Nam Veterans Day. It was an unpopular war but we went and served. We went over there as boys and came home men. Freedom is not free, someone paid the price. All gave some and some gave all. Let's not forget those that have paid the price. To those that made it home to their loved ones, "Welcome Home Brother."
