Hi Everyone, I know many of you were planning on donating food and money for this event. I know this is a scary time for everyone, so if you still have some of those items, please feel free to donate it directly to the family. I have Pay Pal, Venmo, Cas App, or Zelle. If you want to donate any food items or supplies (toilet paper, water, etc.), I can make arrangements with some of our hula family to get those items.... Calling all dancers, new and old! Please text me at (661) 717-2272 if you are available and interested in dancing for Opal's Celebration of Life? Please also let me know, if you want a solo or what dances you would like to be in. Do not worry, if you don't have a costume. I have most of Opal's stuff. Please let me know if you need a costume or have any costumes that you would like me to take off your hands. I am trying to organize everything and take inventory.... Mahalo Everyone!

ALOHA means hello and goodbye... It is used when greeting or parting from someone.... Aloha is the true meaning and symbol of the Hawaiian Culture and lifestyle: respect and love one another, and live in harmony with everything around you. Aloha is not something that is spoken, it is something that must be experienced.

And Jammin Island says.... ALOHA to the heart of our Ohana.... We love you sooo much Opal! Thank you for being so strong. You touched us all in more ways than just teaching us hula and through your friendship, love, and guidance, we grew to become a family. Thank you to everyone for your continuous love and support throughout the years. To all of Opal's hula daughters and hula sons - past and present, we will always have a bond that is irreplaceable and a hula mom in heaven watching each and every one of us... Ohana means family and no one gets left behind...

Opal has been transported to Hoffman House on Buena Vista. Room #207.

Opal is still at Memorial Hospital Room #484. They plan on transferring her to a hospice facility later today. Thank you all for your prayers and for being able to visit.
