This DETENTION Table Talk we want to get playful and learn a little about elevating our kink and fetishes by wrapping them in a world of fantasy and imagination. The inspiration comes from Fetish and Fantasy a fundraiser for the AIDS Emergency Fund created in 1990 by Daddy Adam Selby (Mr. S Leather); which among other things featured kink presentations on stage with fantasies that varied in theme from bar cruises to vampires; complete with costumes, props, music etc. This T...able Talk will consist of 5 Fantasy filled kinky scenes (previously recorded) to tease our imaginations, followed by a short Q&A with each of the Kinksters that produced them. ALL are welcome to attend the series. ONYX Northwest series DETENTION is FREE of charge however, we will be accepting donations and distributing all proceeds to our panelists, interpreters, moderators, and/or supporting charities. This is a series of 4 Table Talks, happening on the 3rd Saturday of every month starting in August 2020, covering a variety of 101 topics (see below). We want to help people create connections and grow the POC BDSM community through sharing our knowledge and skills, so we encourage attendees to participate in all events if possible. ONYX EDUCATION: ONYX Northwest hosts educational series that provide basic tools that empower men of color to participate in BDSM community in a matter that is safe and conducive to overall well being. Our education series offer a baseline of BDSM knowledge and a POC focused space that allows for the exploration of kinks and fetishes, free of cultural taboos or social stigmas. It is meant to be a fun, sex-positive, relaxed, and an informational space, open to all skill levels. Our education series may consist of virtual or in person workshops, panels, table talks, presentations, seminars and more; across a variety of platforms. ONYX: In October 2017, ONYX Northwest became an official ONYX chapter.
