Omni Design Group's Paso Robles Fire Station #3 goes to Planning Commission tonight. The project is a small fire station which will be converted to a training center in the next phase. The complete Ap Bay is to be constructed in the first phase. In the Second phase a larger Fire Station will be constructed on the other side of the Ap Bay and a large training area will be constructed behind the buildings. Future improvements will also include a new Paso Robles Police substation and evidence storage building. Our partners on this project is Wallace Group, who are providing Civil and Landscape Design. The project is located on Union Road, right next to our Autocraft Collision Collision Repair Project, which has just broken ground.

Our Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake RDT&E project has received LEED Certification. The project was a full structural and architectural remodel of an 1940s' warehouse to a high tech office building. J.I. Garcia Construction, Inc was the Design / Build contractor and Andy Pease of InBalance Green Consulting was instrumental in helping the project achieve certification.

Omni Design is currently working on two Energy Storage Facilities in Southern California - One in Goleta and the other in Saticoy. The Saticoy facility will be capable of capturing 100 megawatts (MW) of energy (primarily solar) and store up to 400 megawatt - hours (MWh) all of which can be distributed to meet peak demand, reducing the need for natural gas at night or on cloudy day.
