Foundation board members replaced the bows on the lamppost wreaths that will be installed in Old Town on Monday. Big thank you to the City of Elk Grove for storing and installing them for us!

Come out and join us, Thursday, Sept.26, 6 p.m. for our free History week walking tour and discover the rich history of our Old Town District. Learn about the histories of the buildings, including their destruction and rebirth after Elk Grove’s two devastating fires. Hear about the families and businesses of yesteryear, and discover little-known facts about Elk Grove, including its role in World War II and its wine district. We will begin the tour in the heart of Old Town at the Old Town Plaza. Enjoy an evening stroll through the jewel of the city.

Join us for the 32nd annual Old Town Dickens Faire and new and improved Tree Lighting Celebration. November 30, 2019 in the heart of Old Town! The tradition Continues!

The Old Town Elk Grove Foundation this afternoon announced they will not organize this year's Parade of Lights. This parade traditionally ends the annual Elk Gr...ove Dickens Faire. The foundation said that rising insurance costs as well as safety and liability concerns prompted their decision to not have the parade. They hope that another organization can continue this parade. The Dickens Faire is still scheduled to happen on Nov. 30. Citizen file photo.
