I would like to give a huge shout out to all the Olas employees as well as our awesome customers!! Our employees have been working very hard to inform our customers of our policies and keep the laundry clean and disinfected. Additionally, we have received almost no push back from any customers when we ask them to wait in their cars while clothes are washing and drying and to take dry clothing home to fold. We realize it is an inconvenience. Olas Express Laundromat wants to express our deepest gratitude to our employees and customers alike!! Cheers, Chad

PLEASE READ!! 3/18/2020 3:30 P.M. Laundry Policies ... - Customers coming in to wash are to load washers and either, return to their cars or wait outside. This will reduce potential transmission of Covid-19. - Customers are to wash their hands using the customer sink near the restroom before and after loading washers and dryers. Soap is provided by Olas Express Laundromat - Please only have one person per household inside the laundry. - Children need to stay at home. No exceptions. - Once your things are done drying, please take your unfolded clothing directly to your car and fold your clothing at home. - PLEASE KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS AND STAFF WHILE INSIDE THE LAUNDRY!! We realize many of these items are a major inconvenience. PLEASE READ Dear Olas Customers, We are awaiting further notice from the City and County as to our next steps in this pandemic. Laundries are usually considered Essential Services and thus will likely remain open when other businesses shut their doors. In an effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and do our part in reducing any transmission thereof, we will be implementing the following protocols: - PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING Please keep a safe distance ...(6 feet) from other laundry customers and Olas Employees whenever possible. - WASH YOUR HANDS - Before and after loading your clothes into the washers and dryers, please use the customer sink near the restroom. Anti-microbial soap is located at the sink. - COUGH AND SNEEZE INTO YOUR ELBOW Coronavirus is transmitted through Respiratory Droplets landing on other people or surfaces. - TRY NOT TO TOUCH YOUR FACE, SPECIFICALLY YOUR EYES, NOSE OR MOUTH The Eyes, Nose and Mouth are the most common ways the virus enters the body. - IF YOU FEEL SICK PLEASE STAY HOME AND DO NOT COME TO THE LAUNDRY If you feel a cough or fever coming on please stay home. Our team is working very hard to keep the laundry clean and safe for all customers. - If at all possible, please leave children at home. While they are not as susceptible to the virus, they can transport it and tend to touch as many surfaces as they can get their hands on. - If at all possible, while your laundry is either in the process of washing or drying, please wait in your car as opposed to inside the laundry. - Lastly, whenever possible, please remove clothing from the dryer and take the clothing home to be folded. This will reduce your own exposure in the laundry as well as anyone else’s exposure should an infected person enter the laundry. Our deepest thanks!! Ventura Rotary Club came in yesterday to wash and dry all of the donated garments for the Coats For Kids Program. Olas Express Laundromat is so happy to provide a place for all of these wonderful volunteers to clean all of these jackets for the kiddos in the community. Also, there will be free ornament making on Saturday December 21st from 2-4pm at Olas if any kids are interested in making their own ornaments. All supplies are provided free of charge by Westside Community Development Corporation and the Va Por La Avenida program.

Olas Express Laundromat was honored and happy to wash all the flags that will line Ventura Avenue. We were approached by James Forsythe, CEO of the West side Community Council, to wash the flags and we were more than happy to help. One of our favorite regular customers Liz Campos was nice enough to help us fold them out of the kindness of here heart! This is what community is all about.
