Simi Valley Martial Arts & Fitness is hosting a make-up Bo Staff seminar for the Rowing Form Part 1. This seminar will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 9:00am. Cost for this seminar will be $25 dollars and you must bring your own Bo Staff or Oar. If you do not have your own, SVMA will have them available for purchase. *if you wish to purchase your weapon of choice from us you must give advanced notice and pre-register... OKINAWA-TE NEWS !!!!! The Okinawa-Te organization INC. will be hosting a " BO STAFF " ... SEMINAR The staff form being taught is the ROWING FORM. Date: NOVEMBER 3RD 2012 Place: 1875 ANGUS AVE. UNIT G SIMI VALLEY CA 93065 Time: 2:00-4:30 We are honored to have Sensei Micheal Labrum of Las Vegas here to teach the 2nd of a 3 part seminar. The day will include two parts. Part 1 will be an hour of instruction on the the " THE ROWING FORM, A personal form taught to Sensei Labrum by Shihan Doversola. This form will not be taught in any other forum. Part 2 of the seminar will be at 3:30 - 4:30 this will be a health talk portion about sports related injuries and the effects of acupuncture. Sensei Labrum is also a doctor of asian traditional medicine and a chiropractor. The costs for the seminar are: $25.00 to participate in the entire seminar. $15.00 to audit the rowing form and $15.00 to audit acupuncture discussion. ( ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE OF GREEN BELT LEVEL OR ABOVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ROWING FORM PORTION. ALL BELT LEVELS WELCOME TO AUDIT.)
