Did you know that dogs sniffing each other’s butts is the equivalent of a human handshake? Well actually, dogs learn a LOT more information with this social maneuver. It helps a dog know if another dog is male or female, how old it is, what it eats, how healthy it is, and even what kind of mood they’re in. They also can figure out if they are strangers or if they’ve met before! Who knew one could learn so much with one sniff!?! #TheMoreYouKnow
