One Fine Day Events

Every year we close the office for Thanksgiving week to reset, unplug, and give ourselves time to relax and enjoy some family time after a busy summer of events. This year was quite different. Instead of a busy year of events, it was a busy season of postponing, shifting, and trying to predict the future for our clients and in my case, for my employees. While we haven't been working long days and nights producing events, we have been hustling behind the scenes building new & ...exciting ventures that we hope will help all Tahoe couples (stay tuned for the launch). And while the days leading up to Thanksgiving weren't full of holiday treats and gatherings, but instead moving boxes and trips to our temporary storage unit, we are making the most of this challenging year and persevering in every way we can. I am beyond grateful to have a team of incredibly talented and hard working individuals. This photo is from a couple of years ago when I had just had my second baby. I used to look at this pic and analyze all the things I disliked about my post-prego self and that disaster of a hair cut...but now, I look at it with so much gratitude...gratitude for each of these incredible people who have brought so much light, drive, and dedication to help me grow three great companies. Their talents, their energy, and the memories we have made are absolutely priceless. The bar is a VERY important part of a wedding. I mean, am I right? It's the place everyone flocks to after the ceremony and all throughout the night when they need a little topper or a break from the dance floor. One month ago we witnessed these two incredibly special people say their I Do’s and finally get married. It was a whammy of a lead up with oh ya know 1 week’s notice before their wedding day! Yup you read that right - they found out they won our giveaway and would be getting married one week later. With just a few days to get everything organized, we kicked into high gear to finalize all the details. ONE day to go! One week ago Kacey and Stephen found out they are the lucky winners of our Micro Wedding giveaway. They have had one hell of a year and I cannot even explain how excited we all are to gift them this opportunity to celebrate their wedding alongside their family and friends. From having to cancel their wedding in Mexico due to COVID to then losing Kacey's grandparents one week apart who both took ill from COVID and then losing Stephen's dad to a stroke, this year... has been a rollercoaster of emotions.
