Orange County U. S. Bowling Congress (OCUSBC)

We know Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner but it is not too early to start thinking about getting your entry in for our annual BVL tournament. This event is being hosted by LINBROOK BOWL, 201 S. Brookhurst Street in Anaheim on January 19 & 20, 2019. Squad times are 10 AM and 1:30 PM both days. The entry cost is $25 with re-entry at $20. Entry forms (lilac) are in all Orange County centers or go to our website: ocusbc.org and download the entry form. This makes the 60th year Orange County USBC has been helping our veterans. BVL picks up where government funding leaves off, providing the "extras" that brighten spirits and boost morale. *Pre-register and receive a free BVL bag!! Deadline for entries is January 16, 2019, with on-site entries being accepted through January 20.

Just a quick reminder that our Senior Singles Tournament is next weekend! Participants must be age 50 as of July 28, 2018 Handicap to be 90% of 220 All entrants must be members of Orange County USBC Association with a verifiable Orange County USBC average to be eligible to participate.

Orange County USBC will be hosting a Hall of Fame induction at La Habra 300 Bowl located at 370 E Whittier Blvd. in La Habra on August 25 at 1 PM. The recipient is Troy Kendrick and he will be inducted in the Superior Performance Category. ALL ARE INVITED!!! Please come to honor Troy. Punch and Cake will be served along with lots and lots of camaraderie!!!!

All members are invited to attend the Orange County USBC Association 2018 Annual Meeting on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 1:00 PM, at Fountain Bowl, 17110 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley, CA.

We would like to congratulate both Kevin & Travis Webster a Father and Son team for bowling a 300 game in the same league, on the same night, during the same game! This was during their Monday night Bowlers Depot 595 Scratch League on 10/09/17. Presenting the award is Orange County USBC Director Jessica Diso.

Congratulations to Larry Spejcher. On 2-27-2017 he bowled an 812 series in the 840 Scratch Classic League at Fountain Bowl. Pictured receiving his award with Gary Foreman.
