Please read or listen to the important update regarding the One Retinoblastoma World 2020 conference, taking place in October, below: We would appreciate you taking a few moments to complete this survey to help the conference organizers determine dates, times, and program content for the virtual conference. Here is a bit more information about One RB World, and the survey link (which is screen reader-friendly). World Eye Cancer Hope, with local co-hosts the International Reti...noblastoma Consortium, the Canadian Retinoblastoma Research Advisory Board and the Canadian Retinoblastoma Society, will hold the One Retinoblastoma World 2020 Conference virtually this October. Eye and cancer specialists, researchers, parents and survivors from around the world will gather to pursue the best possible care for all affected children. Collaborative research, clinical care and family support benefitting the majority of children can only be developed through these inclusive meetings with a real-world focus. Since 2012, this conference has continued to encourage collaboration and networking while focusing on understanding the needs of the child and family. Building a solid foundation to support multi-centre global research, will ultimately result in greater knowledge and scientific evidence. This will improve survival, vision outcomes and psychosocial care for all children, families and survivors. The programming of the One Retinoblastoma World 2020 Conference will cover a variety of topics including early diagnosis, medical care, family support and global collaboration. Important aspects of retinoblastoma care will be explored through a combination of presentations, panel discussions and small group discussions. Engaging clinicians, researchers, families and survivors together creates shared learning and novel partnerships. Providing educational and networking opportunities for all stakeholders, this working meeting focused on building connections and collaborations to advance care for all children, survivors and families. #1RBW2020 #OneRetinoblastomaWorld2020 #CRRAB #CRBS #WeCHope https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdwWHInOk9b7u-_C/viewform

While you might be familiar with each of these eye care professionals listed below, it is important to know the difference between each. Their specialty, diagnostic training, and treatment ability will determine which provider you should visit for a particular symptom. Check out our latest article to find out more information on the differences between ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and ocularists!
