Are you offering passes other than full weekend passes? A la carte classes or milonga only passes?... A. Our goal is to offer a cohesive "work on your dancing" weekend, and we encourage you to dig in, and participate fully. If we don't sell out the full passes we will have space to offer day and milonga only passes. We don't plan to offer a la carte classes. Q. What's the deal with the 3 workshop tracks? A. We are offering workshops tracks: Social Dancer's Track (Mostly close embrace), Performer's Track (Boleos, gonchos, big fancy moves), Teacher's Track (for tango teachers and those who practice both leading and following.) Each track will stay in the same room and the teachers will all take turns moving to you. Each track will offer 8 hours instruction. Each track will have at least 2 hours with each teacher set. You can jump the tracks. Q. Competitions? Really? With Tango? A. Yup, because we like to show you a good time! We have 2 "for fun" contests. In the Jack and Jill contest you get to dance with 3 random partners to 3 random songs. The winners of the Jack and Jill contest win full passes to Yuliana's Southern California Tango Championships Feb 17-19 2017. The "Late night Walk Off" is a tango walking contest. You choose your partner and walk to Pugliese. Best walk wins tango shoes sponsored by Yolanda Rossi for both leader and follower. Prepare for the contest by watching Zoolander. Q.
