For this Peace Officer's Memorial Day, The Oceanside Police Department would like to take a moment to remember Officer Dan Bessant and Officer Tony Zeppetella. Both were some of Oceanside's finest, and both taken too soon. Officer Bessant End of Watch December 20, 2006. Officer Zeppetella End of Watch June 13, 2003.

Our Battle of the Badges Blood Drive was a major success. We filled our appointments in record time due to overwhelming support from our community. Officer Witherspoon even got in on the action, donating for the very first time today. #communityhelpers #redcross

Turkey Drop 2020 was a huge success! We were blessed with volunteers and support from all over Oceanside. With masks, sanitizer and gloves in hand and holiday cheer in our hearts, we were able to provide meals, gifts and holiday décor to 51 Oceanside families. Thank you to all you help make this past weekend possible. #turkeydrop2020 #holidaycheer #communityhelpers
