The voices of older adults deserve to be heard in this and every election. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, older adults may face barriers to voting safely and securely. Advocates working with seniors can play an important role in sharing information about voting rights and procedures with their communities. Community Based Adult Services -CBAS- is the MediCal funded Adult Day Health Care program. This care is ESSENTIAL in the continuum, as it is proven to reduce ER visits, reduce hospitalizations, reduce infection rates, reduce falls and keep frail elder adults healthier and happier in an extremely cost-effective manner.

I am so pleased and honored to be among the faculty for this series. I will be speaking on October 24 at 10 am and again on October 29 at 6 pm, discussing the Care, Prepare & Connect program that is part of the Caring for the Whole Person Initiative.
