Our end of the year appeal is particularly important this year than any other. Because of the pandemic we were forced to cancel our only fundraising event of the year. We were unable to raise the funds we desperately needed to continue to provide our programming and a safe and healthy place Where Hope Lives. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supports, government stimulus and some foundations, OEH was able to sustain operation and provide a safe and healthy place for... our families. We are still in need to make our annual financial goals and we invite you to consider to donate any amount that is important to you to make a difference in the life a mother and her child. If there is anything we have learned from this year and the global pandemic, it is that every one of us is vulnerable at some point in time and can find ourselves in need. It is what we do when we are NOT in need to help those who are that can make a world of difference. We continue to be grateful for the many gifts and fortunate blessings of our generous supporters and donors. Kevin Durant was no exception to that. We were extremely grateful and continue to be for all that he was able to give and do for us while he was here with the Golden State Warriors. We continue to wish him the very best in his personal life and professional career.
