Grief takes many forms and can be a very different experience for each person. When someone close to you dies, a period of grief is natural and is part of the healing process. It’s important to know that your grief is unique to you. The funeral is just one part of the grieving process, and it may take months or years to feel like yourself again. A range of emotions is expected, and it’s helpful to have a grief support system around you who will help you cope and be there when you need to share stories, memories and feelings.

What’s the most unique cemetery in the world? The Neptune Memorial Reef . The Neptune Memorial Reef is an underwater tribute that creates life after life by establishing marine habitat to promote coral and marine organisms. The cremated remains of you or your loved one can be tended by angelfish, guarded by moray eels and visited by scuba divers in a scenic 16-acre underwater cemetery three miles off Key Biscayne.

For most of us, Black History Month is something we've always heard about, and perhaps learned about in school. Black History Month was first recognized as a national observance 45 years ago in 1976 to recognize and celebrate the notable accomplishments of the Black community. Black History Month was founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, a historian and author who was the son of former slaves. According to the Library of Congress, Black History Month began in 1915 when Dr. Wood...son founded the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). After he created the organization, he continued to promote the achievements of Black Americans by naming one week in February Negro History Week." This celebration would go on in several cities and towns from 1926 until 1976 when President Gerald Ford made Black History Month a national observance. See more
