Residents have been excited to see some distinguished guests at our Black History Month display, which celebrates the contributions and achievements of African Americans to American history. Holiday decorations are starting to pop up around our community. We've started decorating the tree and putting out holiday backdrops so residents can take holiday selfies to share with family and friends.

During the Thanksgiving season, we celebrated what we are thankful for with a gratitude tree. Residents and staff wrote what they are grateful for on cutout leaves and added them to the tree's branches.

We are so excited to be starting a socially distanced knitting club! Our Activities Coordinator is modeling a scarf made by one of our residents in the photo below and we can't wait to see what other exciting creations our residents knit next.

In honor of Black History Month, residents enjoyed a wonderful armchair travel event to Ghana. We were transported through images, food, and music, including tasting West African food and listening to the Ghanaian national anthem. Residents even left with a jollof rice recipe so they can enjoy the dish at home.
