"When COVID forced us to close our doors, it was not a happy time," said Burlingame business owner John Kevranian. "Bills were stacking up, we didn't know which to pay first. When we got the grant from San Mateo County Strong, it changed everything."

Thank you to the Central County Fire Department Ccfd Toy Drive and Dion Lim of KGO ABC7 News for featuring the Toy Drive. Four days before Christmas, the Toy Drive had collected only 100 barrels of toys which was 75% below 2019. After Dion Lim of ABC7 News featured a news segment on the dire need of Toys, a total of 295 barrels of toys and approximately $2,700 in monetary donations were collected. Thank you to all the donors, Dion Lim, CCFD and all the businesses and organizations for making the toy drive a great success.

Members of the CentralCounty Firefighters need your help to make the holidays a bit brighter for kids and their families. They say donations are down 75% this year due to the pandemic.
