Dont forget about our event tonight!

Nurses and Professional Healthcare 23.10.2020

Big shout out to our Employee of the Month, RN Karen Duval. Congratulations Karen! Karen has worked with NPH for 12 years. She's dedicated, hard-working and committed to her field. We are recognizing Karen this month not only for her longevity and many many hours worked, but for her commitment to professionalism. In 12 years of employment I can say Karen has called in very few times for medically related reasons. If she hears rumors or gossip, she calls to ask directly what is happening. She does not engage in or promote any type of negativity. Karen represents herself and NPH in the best possible light. On behalf of all of us at NPH, we appreciate you Karen and congratulations on being our employee of the month! Your gift is $500.00 and it will appear on the next payroll! GO KAREN!

Valued NPH employees I want to personally thank all of our many NPH employees who are actively working tirelessly to assist in alleviating staffing shortages and to help others who desperately need the care during this very stressful and heightened time of national emergency. There are many inflammatory and inaccurate misconceptions as to restrictions surrounding our mobility and ability to assist our facilities during this COVID-19 alert. I strongly encourage each of you to... feel free to contact the office directly regarding any questions, concerns, or fears you may have. As always, we are available 24/7 to alleviate concerns. A reminder that our after-hours cell phone number is: (530) 774-3333. Our Governor addressed the disconcerting verbiage involved in public alerts this morning. Many of you are sending in alert notices whereby terminology is used such as, stay order, home quarantine, and First responders being deployed. These are all measures that are already in place and that the public has been adhering to for over a week now. The wording means that we are to continue to use precautions and to act in accordance to public warnings to limit exposure to the general public, to not congregate or act irresponsibly in making choices that will possibly promote or spread the virus. IT DOES NOT IMPLY OR MEAN that you are quarantined to your home, or that your ingress and egress from your home or community is restricted. The Governor was clear that they do not anticipate such a restriction at this time. Inasmuch as healthcare workers are concerned, you are providing a critical and necessary service to our community, you will not be prevented from continuing to do so. Please continue to follow national protocol warnings regarding safety precautionary measures as all nursing staff are keenly aware. I want to thank each and every one of you for your compassion, your commitment to healthcare, and for the immeasurable courage and dedication to humanity displayed in every assignment you work, for every patient you aid, and to every family who can rest assured that their loved one is in good hands. You are all heroes and I admire each and every one of you. God bless everyone nationwide during this time of crisis. We will remain shoulder to shoulder, we will prevail! Warm Regards, Sis Gilmore Owner, Nurses and Professional Healthcare
