Numo Acupuncture will be hosting its first Yoga Retreat at the Heart Earth Home in beautiful Groveland, CA on 4/15-4/18. Attendees will get 5 yoga sessions, 3 pranayama breath work sessions, 5 meditation sessions, 5 plant-based meals, all beverages, accomodations, outdoor hiking tours, tea/cacao/whiskey tastings, bonfires, and optional ReiQi and Acupunture sessions. We are open! Inside our clinic room, 10-12 feet apart from each other. We sanitize each body with our alcohol/essential oil spray prior to treatment and disinfect each chair, tables, door knobs, and pens in between each patient. Of course everyone is also required to wear masks and wash hands in between, patients and practitioners alike. It is during these challenging times that we want to help as many people as we can safely and creatively. We have realized that we need to stay open (limited hours) now more than ever. The health care workers and the hospitals are bombarded with covid patients, and have turned many non-covid patients away. It is our goal to help the non-covid but essential patients with our services and care. This will also lessen the burden at the hospitals. Starting this Wednesday, we wi...ll start being available for our mobile/drive-thru acupuncture. This is getting acupuncture in your car. You can drive by and get acupuncture on your ears for your health needs, go home with the needles, and then remove the needles yourself at home. The other option is to get body acupuncture in your car and we can remove your needles for you after 20 mins while you rest in your car. We do ask everyone to wear their masks for this service! Dear Numo Patients: Today, a "Shelter-in-Place" directive was issued by local authorities that impacts every business that is considered non-essential. Because we are a healthcare clinic, we are considered essential and our team of healthcare practitioners feel that in times of need like this, it’s even more important that we remain open for our patients health needs. As of now, we will stay open until otherwise asked by health officials not to. We assure you that we are... taking every precaution possible to make sure you are not in anyway exposed to the Coronavirus. While we take serious preventative safety measures at Numo, we ask for our patients to do their part to keep everyone safe from each other as well. This is what we do: 1. Continually disinfect the entrance door, all of our door knobs, reception counter and floor through out each day with our disinfectant spray. 2. Wipe and disinfect each recliner after each patient is done with their treatment. 3. Spray each patient down with our safe skin sanitizing spray made with witch hazel and antivirals and antibacterial essential oils before treatment starts. The areas sprayed are face, neck, ears, arms, and legs. 4. Have every patient washes their hands before treatment and sanitize their hands after their treatment. 5. Our practitioners washes his/hands in between patients and uses hand sanitizers prior to each treatment. 6. Our patients are spaced apart at least 6 feet from each other. 7. We stop the usage of pillows and blankets and ask that you wear warmer loose fitting clothes or bring your own blankets and pillow to your treatment session if you get cold. We still do have personal heaters for use but limited to six people at a time. 8. Our practitioners will wear masks if we have to get close to your face. 9. We put a limit of 10 patients at any given hour to allow adequate space between each other. 10. We limit treatment sessions to 1 cycle, a total of 30 mins if we reach our maximum number of patients. This is what patients can do: 1. Wash your hands before and after your treatment. 2. Don’t touch your face, nose, or mouth. 3. Wear a face mask if you have one during treatment. 4. Book your apts. online @ www.numoacupuncture.com or through mindbody app. 5. Bring your own pillows and blankets. 6. Don’t come into our clinic if you have any cold symptoms. Ask us and we can provide you with the correct herbal formula to pick up at the front door. Payments can be done over the the phone or via any payment app. 7. Stay positive, loving, and calm. Our clinic will remain open through this coronavirus epidemic. It is still our goal to continue to help as many people as possible to heal and feel better. Typically we treat colds and flu’s, but we asked during this period for anyone who is feeling sick with cold and flu like symptoms to stay home and use Chinese herbal medicine instead. Antivirals, antibacterial, immune boosting, and Lung tonics herbs are available for purchase at the clinic. Please call in advance to c...heck if we still have them in stock as supplies will dwindle down with many formulas on back order. If you are not sick but would like to boost your immunity and strengthen your Lungs, you are welcome to come get acupuncture for that! We will continue to use our safety protocols at the clinic to keep everyone safe from passing anything along to anyone. We do ask each patient to wash their hands immediately upon entering the clinic, spray skin sanitizer from head to toes including blankets right before treatments, and then finish with a disinfectant spray on the blankets and chairs after patient is done with their treatments. We continue to spray disinfectants all the handles and doors throughout the day. All of our disinfectants are made with 70% alcohol and antiviral/antibacterial/antimicrobial essential oils. We also ask each patient to wear a mask if they have allergies or slight cough, and not come around the clinic if they have been exposed to someone that was sick. To ensure safety, we ask our patients to wash their hands again after their treatment or use the hand sanitizer gels and make sure they don’t touch their nose and mouth!
