Number Tournament

With 2021 arriving, we wish everyone an amazing year full of joy, laughter, and growth. Below we have a small number game for those who want to exercise their brains a little and think creatively. Using the numbers 2, 0, 2, and 1, try to hit the target number 4. Feel free to comment on this post with your method(s)! Congratulations to our 2020 Number Tournament participants! Although the current pandemic has brought about unprecedented challenges, a completely virtual event was hosted with over 100 participants living across the country, from California to Illinois and New York! We are extremely impressed by the knowledge and creativity of these 3rd to 8th grade students. In light of the pandemic, the 2020 Number Tournament held on November 1 was free in consideration of those with fina...ncial struggles. A huge thanks to all the participants as well as the young volunteers who helped from their homes in California, Texas, and Georgia! Winners will be notified on Thursday and student work will be returned Wednesday for review. The first historic online Number Tournament 2020 successfully completed today. Over 140 registered students came from all corners of the country including our home base south CA, north CA, IL and NY. We hope you all had a great time. The event would not have been so successful without the dedication and creativity of the young volunteers range from middle school to college in CA, TX and GA. They are still burning the mid night oil in grading the papers at the time of this post. Please give them a big shout out! #NumberTournament
