The average U.S. mortgage rate for a 30-year fixed loan fell this week to 2.72%, Freddie Mac said in a report on Thursday the lowest rate in the survey’s near 50-year history. On Wednesday, August 12th at approximately 11:00 am, Michael Pomes, a Loan Originator from Branch 520, was riding his bike east on 518 and was struck by a car at the Hobbs Rd intersection in League City. The driver started to exit his vehicle and then fled from the scene. A kind woman called 911, but was not able to get the license plate number on his car. Michael was immediately rushed to the hospital and has sustained ...significant injuries. He has 4 broken ribs, both his bottom and top jaws are broken, and his teeth are severely damaged or missing.
