It has been seven years since the passing of our founder, Nakaza, Seiei - Hanshi,Judan. This month we will honor his passing and his legacy by sharing with our... karate family and friends, an official recognition of his last will and testament. We are fortunate that our founder aligned his wishes with his family, his students, and even the Okinawan prefectural government in words and in contract to insure that the Kiyobukan organization would remain strong well after his passing. In these difficult times of transition, many organizations find conflict and competition; where senior students rise in debate over who should be the rightful successor. Nakaza-sensei, witnessed this turmoil elsewhere on Okinawa, and committed to not allow this into our association. He appointed his heir, and took actions to (in his words - paraphrased) "insure that we do not need to compromise our karate to maintain our legacy." Please follow us as we move to share the legacy and the wishes of our founder, as well as the visions of Kiyobukan's future. Thank you for your support and consideration. Please enter the parking lot from west side of the parking lot, near AirGas and Meadiocrity. Please come with the student in their gi Please have students on the passenger side of the vehicle Students will be handed their new belt and certificate through the car window Students receiving a stripe: please be prepared to hand your belt to Renshi to have your stripe applied and returned to you. Make some noise! We know that the Cyber Dojo can be a challenge, but you have shown that you can rise to the challenge! Well done! Attention Students: A number of people have called with questions about how to register for this month, so to make life easy, we will extend the existing class codes through today's classes. New codes will start on Wednesday.... Class times today are 5:30 for White to Blue Belt and 6:45 for Green Belt and up. Classes are 1 hour today! Again the class are different codes are THE SAME!
