OS2 Hudson was a Region West, Meritorious Advancement Program (MAP) nominee. While she wasn’t selected, the Vice CNO wanted to still reach out (phone call) and congratulate her for all of her hard work. These command-level advancements, known as MAP, account for 20 percent of all enlisted advancements each calendar year. The program is a way for command triads to advance their most qualified Sailors ahead of each of the semi-annual Navy-wide Advancement (NWAE) Cycles

Please join me to congratulate Ms. Ivanna Tang for receiving her Navy Medical Corps Health Professions Scholarship. She will be going to Creighton University School of Medicine with her medical school paid for and a monthly living stipend $2466. She was commissioned as an Ensign by her mentor (prior Lt. Col) Dr. Phillip A. Wolfe in Stanford Health Care-ValleyCare Medical Center in Pleasanton CA while her dad Mr. Tang witnessed the ceremony. Her recruiter is Navy Career Counselor Chief Xiaoyan Zheng.
