BIG NEWS FOR STUDENTS! NPPA will reopen their 2018 photo contest for resubmissions of all four quarters! This contest is being re-opened for submissions because they never got judged. The deadline to submit your 2018 images is March 31, 2019. The 2019 contest will open on April 1, 2019. Let us know if you have any questions!

Photo students! You won't want to miss this awesome FREE event put on by CatchLight on April 7. This is a great opportunity to hear from professionals in the field who use to documentary photography and long-form storytelling to promote activism around the world. S/o to all the wonderful members who came to our first NPPA meeting! Today we met our fellow peers and shared our personal work. Next week we will be diving into the basics of photo mechanic and editing strategies. You won’t want to miss it next Wednesday 2-3 pm. in Humanities 303

Huge thank you for everyone who attended and made our first NPPA SFSU Driving Short Course happen yesterday! It was truly amazing to feel the presence of the photojournalism community.

The closing reception where photographers will be present is going to be held Thursday, March 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
