We are sickened, angered, and heartbroken over the incidents of repeated, institutionalized police brutality and oppression of Black Americans. George Floyd Matters. Breonna Taylor Matters. Ahmaud Arbery Matters. Black Lives Matter. We amplify and support the work done to implement change by Black Lives Matter, Color Of Change, The Legal Aid Society, Change.org, The Bail Project, ACLU, NAACP, Amnesty International USA and more. We are looking inward at this time. The financia...l services industry has historically failed Black Americans. So has the tech industry. Work must be done to eradicate racism from the system. And Nova Credit is committed to shouldering our part. So: we are working on our own plan of allyship. First, we want to steer clear of one-off actions. We are developing a longterm plan, not the fastest plan. Second, we don’t want our Black Novans to fight alone. Non-black Novan allies are the ones who will be responsible for the plan’s action. We are still at work on this but will publicly share our approach, in the spirit of continued partnership across our industry. Until then, we support any Novan who is marching during work hours.
