Yesterday evening Not One More participanted with the Ventura County juvenile probation department, with their juvenile substance use diversion program. This ha...s been an honor and privilege to provide educational,awareness and support insights to the kids and their families for the last two and a half years . Our speakers(3) that shared the effects of substance use disorders (SUD's) to their families and themselves, including mental health, suicide, marijuana use in the youth culture, hard drugs, alcohol and vaping to name a few subject matters. I'd like to thank Aliza Thomas, Bart Bright and Ron Riebl for your profound stories and insights of SUD's within your lives and families very impactful and profound eye openers... I also want to thank the Ventura County juvenile probation department, Monica and Jorge for having us do this presentation. We closed the meeting with an ask for these young people to make smart choices and to make a great story in their lives. We emphasized to make this meeting a positive opportunity for their future.
