Not of This World Bookstore broken window and teargas damage during the protests early morning Sunday, May 31, 2020. We got hit twice. I think a glass bottle broke the window and a teargas canister hit the wall (see pink splash on wall). I discovered it was teargas as I was wiping it off the window (So I wept in front of my window for quite a while). It must have been a very wild and scary night in front of our store for both the protesters and the police. Fortunately the gla...ss held and no glass, teargas, protesters or police came into the store. That was a miracle. The other miracle is that we have received donations from a church and five individuals, including two protesters, which almost covers the entire cost of replacing the broken window. The new window has been ordered and should be in place within about two weeks. Glory to God for all things. Glory to God the store is relatively safe. Please pray it stays protected from any future unrest during these difficult times for so many of us. See more
