The City of Sacramento has invested in new workforce recovery programs that will help eligible Sacramento residents whose jobs have been impacted by the COVID-1...9 pandemic secure job placement and training opportunities. The North State BIA is one of the city’s partners in this effort, providing on-the-job-training and job placement services in: construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and other related industries. Last Friday, North State BIA held a drive-thru job fair event at Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center where they met 16 enthusiastic job seekers and 13 of whom were eligible to participate in the program. North State BIF will be hosting another drive-thru job fair event this Thursday, October 29th from 10AM-1PM at the South Natomas Community Center located at 2921 Truxel Rd, Sacramento, CA 95833.
