The Moon also rules this nakshatra, and astrologically the Moon represents the mind. The symbol for Shravana is an ear and represents the ability to listen. THE SOUND OF SILENCE This is a good time to be in seclusion. In the silence of meditation we can listen to the inner sounds. Shravana is a nakshatra of total silence. The mind becomes clear when we meditate on the inner sounds.
