UPDATE (2/15-6 p.m.): We are OPEN!! U.S. 101 is OPEN to one-way traffic control. Motorists should anticipate at least 30-minute delays. This is subject to chan...ge pending additional slide activity. UPDATE (2/15-2:00 p.m.): We expect U.S. 101 to reopen at 6 p.m. to one-way traffic control. Motorists should anticipate at least 30-minute delays. The plan is subject to change and is dependent on no additional slide activity. UPDATE (2/15-12:15 p.m.) U.S. 101 remains fully closed due to slide at Last Chance Grade. Crews are still removing rocks and material from the roadway. We estimate one-way traffic control may begin later today assuming no additional slide activity occurs. (9:30 p.m.): U.S. 101 is closed again due to new slide activity at Last Chance Grade south of Crescent City. Crews are monitoring the roadway. We will reassess in the morning and reopen when safe to do so.
